Would your daughter benefit from:

A small group environment:

We are small, with a total capacity of only 28 students, yet have a staff of up to 20.

Individualized treatment:

With one of the highest staff to student ratios in the country, we offer completely individualized treatment, amazing educational enrichment, and 24/7 support.

A tranquil ranch setting with horses:

In addition to the calming effect of nature, being on a ranch allows us our own in-house equine programs. Learning the care of horses teaches responsibility, horseback riding deepens that bond. Our organic garden nurtures plants and students alike, giving a greater connection to nature.

Group and individual therapies:

Individual treatment plans with 90 day assessments, personalized special programs and goal work, and regular therapy sessions. A variety of approaches helps the girls and their families find what works for them to heal and grow. We use trauma informed, strength based interventions, with positive reinforcement.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): When we become aware of how our internal dialog impacts how we feel and respond to the world, we can learn ways to reframe that dialog and change our lives.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): Directly targets the emotional dysregulation that comes from beliefs and self -talk.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): Helps diminish the power of emotionally charged memories.

Equine Assisted Psychotherapy:

Horses’ responses are honest and immediate. Working with the horse over time builds trust and fosters a relationship that teaches students about their relationships with the people in their lives. Through therapy with the horses we begin to see the girls assertively in their bodies, setting strong boundaries with the horse while staying connected. This balance is one many teenagers don’t understand, causing issues in their relationships.

Intensive family work:

Healing is a process which includes all aspects of a girl’s life. In addition to her individualized therapeutic treatment, regular family therapy sessions, parent coaching, workshops, and visitations support each girl’s progress. The work can be hard, and a commitment from those who will stand with her help facilitate her growth.

Strong academics:

Our model creates strong, self-aware, self-directed learners within an innovative and engaging classroom. Programs such as volunteering for the Oregon Desert Trail Alliance, Our Women of Inspiration Series, and participation in ChickTech helps our students relate their schoolwork and portfolios to the larger world and to their futures.

Wellness and recreation programs:

Fitness on and off campus, art and dance, organic gardening, and healthy meals. Our program also takes advantage of the abundance of recreation offered in our region, from white water rafting, to skiing, to rock climbing, and more.

Access to area recreation and a thriving small city:

Bend, Oregon is a small city and thriving recreation destination, offering an abundance of opportunities for our students as well as their families when they visit. Our country setting is on a ranch, yet only minutes from downtown. It offers easy access to outdoor pursuits and indoor recreation facilities, as well as great opportunities for community events and involvement.
