Recreation - Activities
Central Oregon is in the heart of wilderness areas that include
Crater Lake National Park and the Painted Hills National Fossil area.
The beautiful high desert town of Bend, Oregon lends itself to world class
outdoor recreational opportunities. Academy
students participate in a variety of activities
including: downhill and cross-country skiing, snowboarding on beautiful
Mt. Bachelor, rock climbing at world famous Smith Rock State Park, rafting on the
Deschutes River, canoeing, and camping at any of the pristine Cascade lakes
and everything in between.
On-campus activities at our Oregon boarding school include: soccer, sand court volleyball,
basketball, yoga, Pilates, dance, music and art. Girls may also
participate in our
Equine Assisted Growth Program.
Additionally, we have a cabin on the Deschutes River for camping and a
Retreat Program at our Summer Lake Retreat.
