Student Profile and Admissions
Student Profile
The typical student for the Academy at Sisters is an at-risk
adolescent girl between the ages of 13-18. Some have run away, chosen
poor peer relationships, have no boundaries, are receiving bad grades
in school, are truant, have drug and alcohol issues, continually put
themselves in dangerous situations, and are beyond parental control.
If your daughter has drug and alcohol issues, or if currently on
medication, she must be stabilized before arrival at our school. Current psychological and academic testing are helpful, but not
always required.
Is your daughter crying out for help? There are certain
emotional, social and intellectual changes to be aware of.

that your daughter is at "high risk". Please call the Admission's staff for further
information.

Fees and Length of Stay
The average length of stay at our Oregon boarding school is 14-18 months, but our program is open-ended.
Our residential fees are $5400 per month and are all inclusive. However, medical/dental/vision costs and the
Equine Assisted
Therapy Program are additional,
as well as an enrollment fee of $1500. Each year we add a cost of
living increase effective the first of October.
Some girls may benefit from a wilderness
experience to stabilize their behavior. If a
wilderness program is necessary prior to placement, our Admission's
Specialist can assist in locating a suitable licensed program.
