Francesca Cotton, BS
(she/ her)
Treatment Coordinator
Francesca has been working with teenagers and kids since 2013 in a variety of settings. This includes working as a mountain climbing guide, leading multi-day outdoor education trips, and mentoring adjudicated teen girls in a residential treatment center. During this time Francesca completed her Bachelor degree in Human Development and Family Sciences and landed at The Academy at Sisters in 2020.
Francesca was drawn to The Academy by the therapeutic horse work, experiential outdoor opportunities, and continuing her work with adolescents in the mental health field. She enjoys the deep connection she gets to have with students and their families, the camaraderie of the staff team, and the engaging valuable work of a treatment coordinator that Francesca feels comes very natural to her.
When not at work, Francesca enjoys a balance of relaxing, adventuring, and creating. She likes to read, crochet, ride motorcycles and ski, go on adventures with her dogs, and most recently has been making sourdough and kombucha.
